Takayuki Nakajima was born in Tokyo and trained as an architect at the Universidad de Buenos Aires, Argentina. He has taught since 1993 at the Universidad de Buenos Aires, Universidad Torcuato Di Tella, Buenos AIres, the Universitat Internacional de Catalunya in Barcelona, Spain and as a visiting critic at the Architectural Association and The Bartlett School of Architecture in London. He worked with David Chipperfield Architects between 2001 and 2006 as the project architect of the New City of Justice in Barcelona,(2010 RIBA EU Award) the New BBC Scotland (Pacific Quay) (2008 RIBA National Award)among other important projects. Between 2006 and 2008 he worked with KPF (Kohn Pedersen Fox) as the Senior Design Architect for the Le Varesine Landmark Office Tower and mixed-use project in Porta Nuova, Milanand at Hamiltons Architects (now BFLS) as the Associate Design Architect for The Exchange, Greengate Embankment in Manchester and Marcol House in London. He has also worked in projects on his own with Malca Mizrahi with whom he founded MTMN architects in 1997.

Malca Mizrahi is an architect, researcher and writer. She graduated from the Faculty of Architecture, Universidad de Buenos Aires and has a Masters Degree in Architectural Design from The Bartlett School of Architecture. She was recently awarded a PhD degree with Distinction at UCL, for her Thesis on contemporary art practices engaged with the production of space and architecture. She taught architectural design at the University of Buenos Aires and at The Bartlett School of Architecture at Diploma Level. She practiced architecture in Buenos Aires, Madrid and London, where she worked for Zaha Hadid Architects being the lead designer for The Glasgow Museum of Transport (see Credits). Her writing and visual work explores the production of space from an interdisciplinary approach, interweaving visual and literary strategies of fictional construction; it has been exhibited in London, Venice, Madrid, Mallorca, Rotterdam, Vienna, Sao Pablo, Santiago de Chile and Buenos Aires.
